The Home Builders Foundation

Every year, a portion of the proceeds from Parade of Homes ticket sales benefit the Home Builders Foundation of Metro Denver (HBF). The Foundation's mission is to use the unique resources of the Denver metro home building industry to provide accessible and improved housing environments for individuals and families affected by long-term disabilities. In 2007, the Foundation completed 40 projects, with a total value of nearly $700,000; of that value over $500,000 were donations of labor and/or materials.

And support The Home Builders Foundation

Each home participating in the 2008 Parade of Homes will feature unique and exciting items donated by builders and designers available for auction during the Parade with proceeds benefiting the Home Builders Foundation (HBF). The mission of the HBF is to provide accessible and improved housing environments for individuals and families affected by long-term disabilities.

Bidding on these items will add a designer touch to your home and provide the funds necessary to help the children and adults affected by disabilities whose lives will be assisted by the HBF.

  The HBF Mission
Each year, the HBF aims to raise the bar by creatively and efficiently tapping into the talents and resources of builders, remodelers and suppliers to modify more and more homes. Pairing donated dollars with donated goods and services stretches those donations well beyond their original value, thus allowing the foundation to help even more people in need. All modifications — whether a simple wheelchair ramp or a completely redesigned home — are done free of charge. The mission of the HBF is to relieve its beneficiaries of physical and financial constraints, opening the door to happiness, independence and new opportunities.
